In addition to these features, when the barn was first constructed, the previous owners had two storage rooms built as well as an office and large crafts area. The office along with the crafts area have been re-painted and are currently being used as an entertainment area for the children.

The story behind the basketball court goes back to one of the original owners whose daughter played basketball for a Big 10 college.
